Dealectica Picks is a completely subjective weekly feature in which I pick 5 of my favorite items in a given category. And with Halloween around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to write about some of my picks for Halloween treats for grown-ups. Oh sure, you could pilfer some candy from your kids’ trick-or-treating haul, but after pumpkin carving, costume sewing, and taking your kids out in the cold to beg for candy door-to-door, you deserve to reward yourself with something decadent! No stale Snickers bars for you this year!
Chocolate Fangs with Edible Silver [Dean & Deluca] // I’m really just fascinated by the fact that these fangs have edible silver on them. You know you’ve made it in this world when you can eat silver. I, however, have not made it in the world enough to eat silver.
Barcelona Skull Lollipop [Vosges] // Barcelona is the Vosges flavor that has sea salt roasted almonds in milk chocolate. The Barcelona is my weakness in life. Seriously, it’s the best thing ever. Vosges chocolate is expensive, but Dealectica is all about quality over quantity–I’ll take my expensive chocolate bar once a month over cheap chocolate every week. And did I mention it’s good? It is so good.
Black Lace Sugar Cookies [thePieceDeResistance] // There’s nothing like a good sugar cookie. These are so pretty and for some reason, they remind me of vampires. Fancy Victorian vampires. They also remind me of the Alex’s bordello-like living room on The Real Housewives of New York. I mean this in a good way, mind you.
Pumpkin Truffles [Dean & Deluca] // You might not think that chocolate and pumpkin are a good match, but give it a try and I think you’ll have a change of heart.
Wicked Chocolate Cake [Dancing Deer–BTW, right now they have 15% off all Halloween gifts if you use the code: SCARY15] // And finally, cake. I love Dancing Deer baked goods and this is the perfect thing to bring into the office when everyone else is bringing bags of Milky Ways and Skittles.

Those chocolate fangs are pretty neat looking, and those lace cookies almost look too pretty to eat!
