Yerba mate is a tea-like beverage that’s native to South America. It comes from a leaf grown in the shade of rainforests and it combines the nutritional qualities of green tea with the caffeine kick of coffee. Guayaki yerba mate is organic, grown sustainably, and fair trade. They sell a variety of flavors (even chocolate!) and you can buy it bottled, in bags, or as energy shots.
I’d love for you to stop by my other blog, The Type A Housewife, and read more about Guayaki and the work they’re doing with the Ache Guayaki tribe to help promote regrowth of the rainforest. You can also find out how your vote for Guayaki in the BBC World Challenge can help the Ache Guayaki tribe attain food security. And while you’re there, don’t forget to enter to win a $25 gift code for Guayaki yerba mate!
