I don’t know about you, but this year I’m planning on making a lot of my Christmas gifts. I’m doing soap and candles for our relatives, but if you happen to be looking for some DIY projects that are good for giving to kids, this book has some fun ideas. All of the monsters in this book are made with simple, inexpensive materials like scrap fabric. And not only are the materials inexpensive, the book itself is only a penny too!*

You need to do tutorials of these DIY crafts because I need to learn this stuff! I love the holidays but it’s so hard to buy for people because you never know what they already have and you figure as an adult, you probably buy the things you really want for yourself.

Oh, you KNOW I am doing tutorials! I’m planning on doing two soap tutorials (one here and one on TTAH) and then a candle tutorial too (not sure where I’ll post that). I know this isn’t the holiday spirit, but I think there are some handmade gifts that no one really wants or uses, but I figure that everyone can use soap and candles, right? And handmade ones are always cooler than the kind you buy.
