I’ve looked long and hard in an attempt to find the best moisturizers for oily skin. I know it’s a challenge to find a skincare solution that will hydrate your skin without irrating it or making it appear more oily. Hopefully, you’ll love one of these and it will make your skin look and feel awesome.
At my age, I feel like my concern should be dry skin or the onset of wrinkles. Instead, my biggest issue is still my shiny, shiny skin. And not only is it oily, but it’s sensitive too. It’s not a good look. I’ve used a lot of skincare products and these are some of the best moisturizers for oily skin that I’ve used (at any price point!). These are also great for sensitive skin!
The List: Best Moisturizers for Oily Skin
REN ClearCalm 3 Replenishing Night Serum – Yeah, it’s $30, but it lasts a while. It’s all-natural and it smells lovely! I currently use this every night before bed.
DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew – If you’re not fond of facial care products that are scented, this is a good choice for you.
Origins Zero Oil Oil-Free Moisture Lotion – Oh, I love this one! It contains salicylic acid so it medicates in addition to moisturizing.
Olay Moisturizing Lotion for Sensitive Skin – A friend of mine recommended this to me after her dermatologist recommended it to her. You can’t beat the price (and seriously, one bottle lasts for several months!) and even if it’s not all-natural, it is really gentle on sensitive oily skin. I use this in the AM.
Cetaphil Fragrance Free Daily Facial Moisturizer, SPF 15 – My dermatologist recommended this one to me. Actually, she recommended the basic one to me, but I like this one better because it contains sunscreen.

Interesting, I’ll look into the Origins lotion. I have a combination oily/dry skin and it is not easy to take care of! And I’m a total lotion and potion junkie so I love trying new ones 🙂

I’m such a junkie for this stuff too. I’ve been trying to be better about it lately, though. 🙂

I should try the Cetaphil one. I’ve been using Purpose since I was 16 because my dermatologist recommended it to me but I’ve always heard such good things about Cetaphil. I have weird skin though – sensitive, acne prone, oily T-zone, and dry cheeks.
Kiersten says
Yeah, my skin gets dry during the winter, so the T-zone is oily and the rest of my skin gets flaky. It’s so hard to figure out! But I like Cetaphil because even though it’s not specifically for oily skin, it doesn’t seem to make things worse, which a lot of moisturizers do.

I used to have acne too. . . and I do not get breakouts when I follow the following regime:
I use Orange Juice and Lime Juice. YES! From the supermarket. Its works wonders to cleanse your face of harmful oils. And i have sensitive skin, so this is perfect for me. This link give more deets:

Its from a company called Made from Earth. When I am not using fresh orange juice and lime juice, I am using their Green Tea Toxin Cleanser. Yes girl, it have saved my face!
Kiersten says
Wow, thank you for the tip! Do you just use them as a toner or are you using the juice as a cleanser when you don’t use the Green Tea Toxin cleanser? The only thing that has helped me is antibiotics, but obviously I don’t really want to be on them long term. 🙁
